First love

Perhaps nothing is ever quite as painful as getting over your first love. It's not just any old break-up; this is the boy/girl who taught you what it means to fall in love. You thought you'd spend the rest of your lives together. You have loads of jokes and memories of the time you spent together. Now that it's over, you're scared to death you'll never find anyone to ever replace them.

I can't bring myself to tell you the story about what happened today. :\

soon. will change blogskin or info abit too.

save me.

In the biblical creation story the Creator, having formed the first person, immediately declared our social character: "It is not good that man should be alone." Most of us, most of the time, would rather be with anyone than be alone. And when we compare being with anyone to being with a real friend, there is no comparison. The reasons are endless. Seventeenth-century philosopher Francis Bacon noted two tremendously positive effects of friendship: "It redoubles joys and cuts grief in half." How true. Friends make the ordinary running errands or eating lunch, for example, extraordinarily fun. And good friends ease our pain and lighten our heavy load. They also strengthen us, nurture us, and help us grow. And without our knowing, they can even save our lives. Literally.

There's exciting news about having a kindred spirit these days. Not only are friends good for the soul but for the body as well. Friends help us ward off depression, boost our immune system, lower our cholesterol, increase the odds of surviving with coronary disease, and keep stress hormones in check. Half-dozen top medical studies now bear this out. Their findings didn't seem to be influenced by other conditions or habits such as obesity, smoking, drinking, or exercise. The thing that mattered most was friends. What's more, research is showing that you can extend your life expectancy by having the right kinds of friends.

This brings us to a central issue. What are the "right kinds" of friends? What makes a friend "good"? What are "the real" friends?
On the other end is "know-it-all friend" who mothers and smothers with unwanted advice but never asks for our input. In short, friends cannot be your family, they can't be your project, they can't be your psychiatrist. But they can be your friends, which is plenty.

Real friends are few. The few real friends we enjoy generally come in one of two forms, both desirable and equally delightful.

wedding dress

'I want to marry you, I don't want you to be my girlfriend or my ex-girlfriend. Just someone I will marry and will spend the rest of my days with. I want to grow old with you, hold you when you feel cold and can't walk anymore. I want to see you in your wedding dress, walking on the isle, preparing to be my wife. Till death do us part...'

Happy birthday!

From my parents.

They say that the number three means bringing balance to those who are unbalanced. I don't know who exactly said that but they said it. I was born in September 3rd 1994, in the country of Philippines. I was half raised in the Philippines and in the country of Brunei. And today, today I had a happy birthday. (:

I never actually wanted to go out of the house today but I had no choice but to go out since I thought mom and dad would just go and pick up Nigel from school and send him to tuition. :p When we picked up Nigel, we drove to Gaydong which was kinda weird cause we were suppose to send Nigel first before going to Gaydong. :> I grew very suspicious.

When we arrived at Gadong, we went to mall and headed for Western Union and I figured we were gonna send money to my older brother so my suspicious feeling faded. Then mom said she had to go and make a withdrawal so she asked dad, Nigel and me to go up to the food court. I wanted to stay with mom but then she ended up scolding me and asked me to go up with dad. >.> It was weird cause usually mom would allow me to stay with her while she makes a withdrawal. Anyway, we went up and the funny thing there is dad would so not wait for mom to arrive before ordering but he did. He just stood there and looked at his phone.

Oh the feeling of being suspicious. Something was seriously not right.

Moving on, dad suddenly asked us to go down, so we followed. I saw mom smiling and it was that weird, really scary smile. I just followed her, she was walking waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to fast. OMG LEH! but I kept following her, then she turned to Pizza Hut and I was like 'what are we doing here?' and she didn't reply. She knocked on the cashier counter but before she did that, I saw Steph's head! :p I was like wtf? and she jumped out to sing happy birthday!

After that I saw xinZaii popping out, bitch didn't go to Labuan! D:

We ate there, paid for $25 worth of one pizza and those stick thing. No idea what they call it. Then we ate the oreo ice-cream cake there, it was so yummy! :p After we finished eating, we had to rush to the cinema cause we were already late for the 'Vampires Suck' movie. *skip, skip, skip* After the movie finished, we went to Anisah Salon and trimmed our hair. (8 xinZaii looks sexy with her hair now. *wiggle wiggle eyebrows* We finished around 6 but Steph left before us.

Then we headed home. (: Had dinner with my parents and watched television with them. <3>

Thank you to all the greeters and to my friends. Thank you for the gifts, I love them and especially the memories.

September.

When people ask me 'How are you?'
I don't really know how to answer anymore.

There is 2 more days till my birthday, actually 1 more day since tomorrow is September 2. I seriously don't know how I turned from that to... right now. I mean, I use to smile so realistic and laugh at everything. Now, whenever I smile, I can barely tell if it's real or fake. I'm not saying that friends make me sad or anything, just seriously from that... to 16 year old idiot.

...time passes way to fast.

Dad's back. He was excess by 9kg, no shock really but he didn't manage to by most of the things I asked him to buy which is really disappointing. ): I didn't get my beanie and my marvel shoes. He just bought one shoes from me but that's okay. (8 Anyway, Thursday is the last day of school and today I didn't bother coming to school. That's okay too. Friday has to be a good day though, I'm planning to give my mathematics score to my dad tomorrow. I'm preparing for the worst. I'm using my phone non-stop just in case he takes it away.

I got this from Grandma and Auntie Leya.

My older brother bought the donut thing.
I finally got 3 t-shirts from Phillipines and two shorts.
1 new converse shoes. AND IT'S GREEEEEEEEEN!

I didn't receive my beret or beanie but it's okay, mom and I are going back to the Phillipines on March so everything I want can be bought then.

well, cheers.
